Lakeview Maria Montessori Preschool is a state certified Montessori school through the Louisiana Department of Education. We have been serving the families of St. Tammany in downtown Covington for over 20 years. Owner Rachel Wilcox is Montessori certified and is in the classroom everyday along with a daily Montessori trained assistant.

The Montessori curriculum focuses on the needs and goals of the individual child. Your child is allowed to progress at his or her own pace. We offer art and music daily and play outside for an hour every day. Our phonics program teaches your child to read with our hands on moveable alphabet. Parents join in for our holiday parties too! We learn a lot while having fun @ Montessori!❤️Ages 2.9 - 6 years old

Soccer ⚽️ Shots has a soccer class at our school every Tuesday.

We offer a state-certified kindergarten.

Children may participate in our half day or full day kindergarten program.
